Each tablet contains Valsartan / Chlorthalidone.

- 80mg Valsartan / 25mg Chlorthalidone – Box x30 Tablets
- 160mg Valsartan / 25mg Chlorthalidone – Box x30 Tablets
Indications
Treatment of mild to moderate arterial hypertension. Treatment of heart failure stages II to IV.
Dosage
Arterial hypertension: Adults: 80mg to 160mg/day. Maximum dose 320 mg/day. Heart failure: 40mg every 12 hours. Make upward dose adjustments up to 80mg and 160mg every 12 hours.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any component of the formula. Other angiotensin receptor antagonists. In patients with severe liver and/or kidney failure, liver cirrhosis, cholestasis of the bile ducts, primary aldosteronism and patients on dialysis. Pregnancy.
Side effects
Adverse reactions to valsartan have been mild, transient, and of low incidence. The most frequent are:
CARDIOVASCULAR: Orthostatic effects (hypotension, dizziness), palpitations.
NEUROLOGICAL / PSYCHOLOGICAL: occasionally headache, drowsiness, ataxia. Exceptionally insomnia, vertigo, depression, asthenia and neuralgia.
RESPIRATORY: occasionally viral infection, upper respiratory tract infection, cough, rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis.
DIGESTIVE: occasionally diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, dyspepsia. Exceptionally, gastroenteritis.
OSTEOMUSCULAR: occasionally muscle cramps and myalgia.
HYPERSENSITIVITY: rarely angioedema and pruritus. At the humoral level, slight and occasional increases in serum creatinine, potassium and bilirubin have been observed. In rare cases it may be associated with reductions in hemoglobin, hematocrit and neutrophils.
