Composition
Diosmin + hesperidin (micronized).
Presentation
- Granulated sachet of 900mg of diosmin and 100mg of hesperidin. Box of 15 sachets.
Indications
Treatment of the symptoms of chronic peripheral venous insufficiency and hemorrhoidal plexuses.
Posology
Chronic venous insufficiency: 1 sachet per day (1,000mg).
Hemorrhoidal crisis
4 days: 3 sachets (1 sachet every 8 hours)
3 days: 2 sachets (1 sachet every 12 hours)
Maintenance: 1 sachet daily
Side effects
Gastrointestinal disorders such as nausea, diarrhoea, epigastric pain, vomiting and abdominal pain have been reported occasionally. Others such as insomnia, vertigo and headaches. These effects disappear upon discontinuation of treatment.
Interaction with other medications
It should not be administered simultaneously with antacids or highly alkaline foods as they may decrease absorption.
Warnings
Product of delicate use, administer by prescription and under medical supervision. Do not administer during pregnancy or when its existence is suspected, or during lactation.
If hemorrhoidal symptoms persist or are not relieved within 15 days, see your doctor.
