- Each SENOKOT tablet contains:
Sennosides A-B obtained from cassia acutifolia pod powder 187mg
(normalized to 8.6mg sennosides A-B) - Each tablet SENOKOT WITH DOCUSATE contains:
Sennosides A-B obtained from cassia acutifolia pod powder 187mg
(normalized to 8.6mg sennosides A-B)
Docusate sodium 50mg
Indications
Treatment of occasional or mild constipation caused by poor eating habits, lack of exercise and inadequate intake of natural fiber.

- SENOKOT®: Box with 30 tablets.
- SENOKOT® with docusate: Box with 20 tablets.
How to use
SENOKOT® and SENOKOT® D (with Docusate):
Teens and Adults
- 1 to 2 tablets before bedtime, maximum 4 tablets.
- Children over 30Kg: 1 tablet per day is recommended, maximum 2 tablets per day.
- Pregnancy: Half the dose is recommended.
Adverse effects
Rarely can be observed, particularly in cases of overdose: abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal distension and flatulence.
Contraindications
Acute surgical abdomen, fecal impaction, intestinal obstruction.
Cautions
Do not use for periods longer than a week, unless medically indicated. Avoid concomitant use with mineral oil-based laxatives, as systemic absorption of mineral oil may be increased.
Warnings
Do not administer during pregnancy or when its existence is suspected. Do not use laxatives in case of abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting.
